Dr. Tony Wong and wife, Dr. Bessie Pian opened Overlake Eye Designs in 2003. After working in a variety of clinical settings after graduating optometry school at UC Berkeley, they felt that owning a private practice and having the freedom and control of all aspects of patient care and delivery was what was most rewarding for both doctor and patient. They have resided on the Eastside for almost twenty years and are happy to be serving families in their local community.

In 2010, Microsoft Corporation reached out to Dr. Wong and Dr. Pian to open an eye care clinic on their corporate campus and for a five-year term they had exclusively provided full scope eyecare service to Microsoft employees and their families on site. As their contract has come to an end, they welcome and invite all of their valued patients from Eyecare at The Commons to continue with them at Overlake Eye Designs.
